New Chapters; Seasons Change

the seasons are changing

the sun falls, as do the leaves

red and brown as far as the eyes can see

children go inside and watch tv

no more porch swinging kids

we hibernate

bears with fur from animals we need

snuggling by fireplaces

hot soups and christmas trees

the seasons are changing

rain falls blending in with the tears we hide

having an excuse to wipe your eyes

leaves fall, flowers blossom

growth is amongst us

sprouting as we ourselves spread our wings

seasons are changing

as are we
